[EN] Severe drug-induced eruptions caused by preparations topically applied to the skin and mucous membranes are very unusual. Our report underscores the need for increased awareness about the possible severe cutaneous adverse effects of topical drugs and highlights the importance of a detailed medical history. This is especially important since it has been reported that prompt withdrawal of the causative drug is associated with a better prognosis.
