Las manos limpias son cuidados seguros

Abstract

20 años después (2009-2019) seguimos afrontando el primer reto mundial por la seguridad de los pacientes de la OMS, cuyo objetivo es reducir las IAAS y que se enmarca bajo el epígrafe “una atención limpia es una atención segura”. No podemos bajar la guardia, se hace necesario abordar diversas estrategias de intervención entre las cuales tendrán un papel crucial las que vayan dirigidas a mejorar el grado de cumplimiento de las recomendaciones sobre la higiene de manos y a la monitorización continua del proceso.

20 years later (2009-2019) we continue to face the first global challenge for the safety of the patients of the WHO, whose objective is to reduce the IAAS and that is framed under the heading "a clean care is a safe care". We can not lower our guard, it is necessary to address various intervention strategies among which a crucial role will have to be addressed to improve the degree of compliance with the recommendations on hand hygiene and continuous monitoring of the process.
