[ES] El usuario por excelencia de la biblioteca hospitalaria es el personal sanitario. La extensión bibliotecaria es la forma que tiene la biblioteca hospitalaria de difundir sus servicios y atraer a público sanitario que no es habitual o al personal no sanitario. La extensión cultural se realiza a través de un conjunto de actividades que consiguen que participe la comunidad que engloba a todas las categorías del ámbito hospitalario y de primaria. El objetivo es proyectar la presencia de la biblioteca en los ámbitos culturales y sociales de su entorno sanitario. [GLG] O usuario por excelencia da biblioteca hospitalaria é o persoal sanitario. A extensión bibliotecaria é a forma que ten a biblioteca hospitalaria de difundir os seus servizos e atraer a público sanitario que non é habitual ou ao persoal non sanitario. A extensión cultural realízase a través dun conxunto de actividades que conseguen que participe a comunidade que engloba a todas as categorías do ámbito hospitalario e de primaria. O obxectivo é proxectar a presenza da biblioteca nos ámbitos culturais e sociais da súa contorna sanitaria. [EN] Introduction: The library of the Ferrol Health Area participates in a series of library outreach activities within its hospital and primary care. Methodology: It collaborates with other services such as Humanisation, pneumology, teaching, training, research, innovation, association of recreational activities and all those who request it. Collaborations range from bookcrossing, photography, painting, poetry and short story competitions to celebrate Galician Literature Day, book or library days, to actions for World No Tobacco Day or World Hand Hygiene Day, posters, logos, videos, photographic reports, infographics and images for social networks. It also publishes every 2 months Biblioboletines aimed at all professional categories in the healthcare area. Results: 20 Library Newsletters have been produced to date where fixed sections are included such as the scientific production of our area, books incorporated into the catalogue, Recipes-Library, Book therapy, resources for research and for other health specialities; 3 editions of World Tobacco Day where books and bookmarks were exchanged for tobacco; 4 photography, painting , poetry and short story competitions among professionals in the healthcare area with prizes consisting of book packages; 2 Innovation Days; videos such as those made for the arrival of the Three Wise Men at the hospital and for the research portal, Christmas competitions with gamification tools, to reinforce and disseminate knowledge about the library and its databases. Conclusions: The library reaches out to all categories of staff with these activities, spreading its activities beyond the traditional ones of a hospital library supporting care, teaching and research and extending its services to help with the creation of posters, infographics, presentations, videos and festive events. The library participates in the hospital’s humanisation process.The library is integrated with the hospital’s services, which are aware of the work and activities carried out in the library, reinforcing the dissemination of innovative tools.
